Cajamar Innova Agrotech seeks projects to develop the agri-food technology of the future

The first call for Cajamar Innova Agrotech , an acceleration program for companies in the Agrotech sector with which the organization aims to promote the development of technologies that respond to the global challenges of sustainable food production, is open until July 7, 2024. The initiative is part of the “Andalucía Agrotech European Digital Innovation Hub (Agrotech EDIH)” project, co-financed by the EU through the Digital Europe Program (Call DIGITAL-2021-EDIH-01) and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development of the Andalusian Government through the FEDER Operational Program.
A maximum of ten business projects or technology-based companies/startups in the agri-food sector will be selected.
Outstanding requirements to be eligible to participate in Cajamar Innova Agrotech
- Aimed at people with business projects or technology-based companies/startups in the agri-food sector (entrepreneurs, innovative companies and startups that provide real solutions to the demand for sustainable food production in the agri-food sector).
- Technology-based and innovative business projects in the early phase (provided they have a Minimum Viable Product (MPV)) and/or in the development and execution phase.
- Technology Maturity Scale (TRL) of the solution: projects will have to have a development level of at least TRL 6.
- They may have any geographical origin.
- They should preferably be framed in one of the following areas:
- Robotic Biotechnology
- Agricultural Mechanization and Equipment
- Precision Agriculture and Livestock Farming
- Integrated agricultural management platforms
- Regenerative Agriculture
- New production systems
- Technologies for reducing CO2 emissions
- Circular economy
- Bioeconomy, Bioenergy and Biomaterials
- Logistics, Traceability and Food Safety
