UPA organizes a demonstration day in Gomecello on sustainable fertilization with drones.

The Union of Small Farmers and Ranchers (UPA) is holding a new edition of its demonstration sessions on effective and sustainable techniques, scheduled for June 18, 2025 , from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. , in the town of Gomecello (Salamanca) .

This session will focus on new technologies applied to agricultural fertilization , with special attention to the use of drones for applying solid and liquid fertilizers . This tool is increasingly used on farms due to its efficiency, precision, and reduced environmental impact.

Program of the day:

• 10:00 a.m. | Presentation of the day, distribution of materials, and technical explanation
  In charge of a UPA Salamanca technician.
• 11:00 a.m. | Drone-assisted solid and liquid fertilizer demonstration in the field
  With practical explanations by the UPA Salamanca technical team.
• 12:00 p.m. | Demonstration of solid and liquid fertilizer application using drones
  Directed by Carlos López Carredo , an expert in technology applied to the agricultural sector.
• 1:00 PM | Conclusions and closing of the day
  Summary of results and space for questions, by a UPA Salamanca technician.
• 2:00 PM | Spanish Wine
