Technical seminar on plant production with regenerative models
Description
The Juana de Vega Foundation will hold the A6 Technical Seminar "Bases of Plant Production with Regenerative Models" on October 9 and 10, 2025. This in-person training activity will combine theoretical and practical sessions at various locations in the province of A Coruña.
The seminar's objective is to train technicians, farmers, and advisors in the key aspects of regenerative agriculture applied to crop production , addressing aspects such as sustainable fertilization, cover crop management, direct seeding, and pest and weed control using techniques that respect the soil and ecosystem.
Location of the sessions
- Theoretical part : headquarters of the Juana de Vega Foundation (Avda. Salvador Allende, 92. San Pedro de Nós, 15176 Oleiros, A Coruña).
- Practical part : Os Biosbardos farm (Lugar de Lendoiro, 15660 Cambre, A Coruña).
Planned program
Day 1 | Thursday, October 9 (10:00 – 18:00)
- Presentation of objectives and facilitator.
- Mineral and organic soil fertilization.
- Implementation of plant cover and use of green manure.
- Direct seeding technique.
- Practice : fertilization and soil sampling.
Day 2 | Friday, October 10 (9:00 – 14:00)
- Pest control techniques.
- Techniques for weed control.
- Practice : pest and weed control.
- Analysis and conclusions.

This seminar is part of the Juana de Vega Foundation's line of activities focused on knowledge transfer and training in sustainable practices for the agri-food sector .
