Description
The Government of La Rioja , through the Agricultural Knowledge Management and Transfer Unit , is organizing a technical workshop for farmers, technicians, and horticultural professionals on September 24, 2025. The event will take place at the El Raso Cooperative in Calahorra.
Program
- 11:30 a.m. – Presentation of the day
- 11:45 a.m. – Feasibility test for outdoor and greenhouse pocha crop cycles. Tall and short varieties.
- 12:10 p.m. – Test on planting densities in greenhouse borage cultivation: influence on yield and phytosanitary management
- 12:30 p.m. – Visit to a demonstration plot: viability of different varieties and outdoor cauliflower cultivation cycles
- 1:30 p.m. – Aperitif and closing of the day
This meeting is part of the agricultural knowledge transfer initiatives promoted by the Government of La Rioja, with the aim of bringing the results of experimentation and innovation to the region's farmers and technicians, promoting the adoption of good practices and improving the competitiveness of the Riojan horticultural sector.
