										Description
From a multidisciplinary perspective, the relationship between Biosphere Reserves as territories will be discussed, whose objective is to harmonize the conservation of biological and cultural diversity, and economic and social development through the relationship between people and nature. The environment chosen for this debate is the island of Menorca, which offers interesting examples of study.
30th anniversary of Menorca as a Biosphere Reserve
The course is being taught to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the UNESCO UNED-Triptolemos Chair “Science and innovation for sustainable development: Global Food Production and Food Security” and the 30th anniversary of Menorca as a Biosphere Reserve.
