SUPPORT Webinar: Crop Protection Legislation

The European SUPPORT project, focused on Helping farmers meet the crop protection reduction targets of the Farm to Fork strategy through the implementation of integrated pest control, especially in strawberry, grape and olive crops, is now entering a phase in which policy recommendations can be made.

For this reason, on 7 February 2025, from 10:00 to 12:15, we are organising an interactive webinar on EU and national legislation on crop protection, where the main topics of interest will be discussed, with the presence of European Commission authorities and project experts.

Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias de España is a partner in this project and coordinates the information obtained from the wine sector at a European level. In addition, our organization is collecting information at a national level from the olive and strawberry sectors. With this objective, three working groups were established in 2023, in which the technical staff of the cooperatives participate. These groups identify the main health problems of each crop, study the chemical and biological alternatives available to combat them, and identify the techniques of integrated pest management and their situation and implementation.
