Green infrastructure management and biological pest control
Description
Series of 5 online sessions showing how the use of ecological infrastructures promotes good pest control in crops, promoting respect for the environment and increasing biodiversity.
Among other topics, the different plants that can form part of green infrastructures, the main pests present in horticultural and fruit crops, as well as their biological control organisms will be shown.
The course has a total of 5 sessions, organized on the following dates and around various topics:
12 SEPTEMBER | Session I: Green infrastructures .
SEPTEMBER 17 | Session II: Biological control for aphids and mites in different crops .
SEPTEMBER 19 | Session III: Biological control of pests: whitefly and Mediterranean fruit fly .
SEPTEMBER 24 | Session IV: Biological control for vasates in tomato crops and thrips in different crops .
26 SEPTEMBER | Session V: Green infrastructures. Functional biodiversity .
