Description

This online and live course will train participants in the use of drones and remote sensing technologies for obtaining, processing, interpreting and analyzing geospatial data. It is held in four sessions:

  • October 8: from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • October 10: from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • October 15: from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • October 17: from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Attendees will acquire specific skills in:

  • Basic and advanced fundamentals of remote sensing applied to agriculture.
  • Data capture and processing with drones, covering flight planning and the use of different types of sensors.
  • Handling of geospatial analysis tools, such as QGIS and CloudCompare, to interpret the collected data and generate useful reports for agricultural management.
  • Application of UAV image analysis techniques and point clouds for crop segmentation and characterization.

With this training, participants will be able to optimize crop monitoring, detect problems early and make decisions based on accurate data, which will improve their ability to implement advanced technological solutions that increase productivity and the efficient management of agricultural resources.

Registration until October 7th.
