Description
The current food waste situation in our countries demands our attention, so we are reaching out to 25 young Europeans from different cultures: Spain and Greece.
Description of activities
Two main activities: the advance planning visit and the youth exchange itself
Objectives
- Through non-formal and informal educational methods such as coexistence, workshops, international mobility, and debates, we will acquire in-depth knowledge about sustainability, the environment, and food sovereignty.
- We will emphasize the importance of rural areas and communities.
- In addition, we'll learn how to implement methods to reduce food and resource waste, and how to maintain a healthy, eco-friendly diet and lifestyle.
- After the project, we will acquire the skills necessary for active and effective citizenship from youth at the local, regional, and even national levels. We will build relationships at the national level to achieve international impact.
- We will develop tools to reduce and measure waste, accessible to people not involved in the project.
- We will also facilitate learning so they can organize social events that benefit communities in every way.
