Erasmus+ Project: European students of basic agricultural vocational training

The results obtained, more specifically, are: improved early school leaving rates, improved professional skills among Basic Vocational Training students, improved levels of communication in foreign languages, and improved entrepreneurship. In addition, other unexpected results have been obtained, such as improved student self-confidence, a notable improvement in the personal motivation of each participant, and, finally, improved social relationships at the group level. The impact achieved in each of the centers is reflected, on the one hand, in the improvement of their internationalization and European presence, the reduction of school dropout rates, and the improvement of professional skills. The social and personal aspects of the students, which improve their employability, self-esteem, and entrepreneurial attitude, and, on the other hand, in the improvement of the teaching activity of their teachers.

Another impact achieved has been the approval of a consortium with similar characteristics, but at a higher level, in this case comprising 11 educational centers whose common thread is agricultural vocational training, in the Basic Vocational Training format. Furthermore, it is worth mentioning that teacher participation at these four centers has been and continues to be very active, with unexpected synergies arising from the application for this project, which have pleasantly surprised us since the initial participation of both students. As for the teachers, their average performance was low and, throughout the project, has increased exponentially.
