Description
The Operational Group promotes the development of innovations in hop cultivation in Spain, including the study of environmental improvements in processes, technologies, and energy savings, as well as the sustainable management of water resources and efficient management of the nutrients required by the crop to improve the profitability of farms.
Objectives
- Improving farm competitiveness, variety testing, crop disease and pest control, among other aspects, will be included in the design of a project for the sector and its dissemination to growers, at a time when technological and management modernization is vital for the future of hop farms.
