Operational Group for the development of an integrated system for the optimization of irrigation doses for stone fruit trees in the Ebro Valley

Irrigation is one of the most important operations for obtaining yields and quality of crops in areas with arid and semi-arid climates.

The Task Force is pursuing the implementation of a modernized system for optimizing irrigation rates for stone fruit trees (especially peaches and nectarines). The methods and coefficients developed decades ago for varieties that are no longer the majority will be replaced by new ones obtained using current technology and Big Data.
