Innovative strategies for efficient rearing management

This Task Force aims to establish an efficient rearing programme on dairy cattle farms, based on the establishment of new selection indices through genetic optimisation of the herd and early monitoring of heifers by incorporating innovative ultrasound analysis techniques.

At the same time, it contributes to analyzing how the incorporation of these and other strategic measures can generate a positive impact on feed efficiency and the economic viability of dairy cattle farms.
