Description

Creation of an Organization of Producers of extensive organic herbaceous crops through an innovative transfer and organization system, in which different actors from diverse fields are integrated to exchange knowledge.

Objectives
  • Establish an effective organizational system and knowledge transfer network by integrating agents with different profiles
  • Create an organic product PO (Producer Organization) that allows producers to achieve a higher margin for their products and reduce costs.
  • Disseminate the project results so that they reach a wide range of recipients (farmers, buyers, public administrations, research centers, technology companies, and end consumers)
Results
  • Improving farmers' knowledge of organic production and marketing, agrosystem management, and profitable farm management. Increasing interaction and knowledge exchange among different stakeholders.
  • Laying the groundwork for the future creation of an organic product organization (PO) based on improved knowledge of associations, enabling farmers to gain greater bargaining power and offer consumers healthier, sustainable, and high-quality products.
  • Dissemination of project results to a wide range of stakeholders
