The role of rural women and eco-feminism. Rural women and politics.

Carmen Martínez Ramiro , from the Department of Training and Equal Opportunities of Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias de España , will participate in the round table "The role of rural women and eco-feminism. Rural women and policies" , which will take place within the framework of the III Congress "Rota, in a feminist key" between September 21 and 22. The needs of rural women and the policies that are necessary to be able to transform the rural and urban worlds into equality will be addressed.
During her speech, Martínez Ramiro will outline the various strategies in the field of equality , along with the training programmes aimed at members related to the agri-food cooperative movement . She will also discuss her role as technical coordinator in the Association of Women of Agri-food Cooperatives of Spain (AMCAE) , created in 2013. This organisation represents and protects the interests of women members of cooperatives in the agri-food sector in Spain.
Inaugural lecture by Carmen Calvo, former Vice President of the Government
Carmen Calvo, current President of the Council of State and former Vice President of the Government, will give the opening lecture of this congress.
