Inno4Grass

Description

Inno4Grass is the acronym for "Shared Innovation Space for Sustainable Grassland Productivity in Europe," an international, multi-stakeholder project bringing together leading farmer organizations, extension services, educational and research institutions from eight EU countries: Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, and Sweden. Grasslands play a significant role in agricultural production, and the production of dairy, beef, and sheep meat is a significant economic driver. It also addresses the general public/society with the message that forests, sustainably managed by rural dwellers, are a great source of wealth, providing us with cork, resins, aromatic and medicinal plants, and edible products such as nuts and wild berries, mushrooms, and truffles. Socioeconomic activity in our forests also contributes to forest fire prevention.
