CORENET - Short supply chain knowledge and innovation network

Description

COREnet seeks to improve the performance and impact of SFSCs (Short Food Supply Chains) by promoting support services and the exchange of materials.

COREnet's primary task is to develop a Food Supply Chain Advisory and Support (FSCS) system based on collaborative learning and exchange, in line with the Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation System (AKIS). This system aims to bridge the gap between research and practice, foster a collaborative approach among FSCS stakeholders, promote interdisciplinary and international innovation, and support the digital transformation of agriculture.

The project will identify and support 27 "lighthouse" projects (one in each Member State). These projects will apply and adapt the experience and knowledge from the 40 Gold Cases to build a knowledge base for advisory services. COREnet will offer a self-sustaining and viable peer-learning network across Europe for short food supply chain professionals.
