The Farm to Fork strategy is at the heart of the European green deal with the aim of making food systems fair, healthy and environmentally friendly. We need to redesign our food systems to make them more sustainable and increase their resilience. New technologies and scientific discoveries, combined with increased public awareness and demand for sustainable food, will benefit all stakeholders. The digital revolution provides opportunities, but many companies still find it difficult to know which technologies to invest in and how to secure financing. More than 90% of SMEs are left behind in digital innovation and need support for their digital transformation.
