Observatory for the Digitalization of the Agri-Food Sector - Analysis of the current state of digitalization of the Spanish agri-food sector

This study presents the current state of the digital transformation of food production and processing activities in Spain. It is the result of the quantitative analysis of the questions collected in the questionnaires used in the survey. They are organized around a set of sections, which coincide with the chapters of the report. It includes data on connectivity in agricultural holdings and agri-food industries, the use of devices, sensors, decision-making support tools or enabling technologies throughout the value chain. It also shows the expansion of electronic commerce for both the sale and purchase of inputs and food, or the digital skills of people working in the sector as a whole. The last section addresses the importance of public aid in digital transformation.
