Implementation of a livestock waste management system with energy use

The main objective of the creation of the Operational Group is to draft a project, studying the technical, environmental, social and economic viability of a manure and slurry management model.

Based on anaerobic digestion and to alleviate the negative effects of their generation in intensive farms, generating energy and social benefits with the energy use of the gases generated and the reduction of odours in terms of social impact and achieving a reduction in greenhouse gas and ammonia emissions.

The aim is also to design a system for the use and exploitation of digestion products: biogas and digestate.
