Inventory of innovative projects implemented by supra-regional operational groups of the European Innovation Partnership for agricultural productivity and sustainability of the National Rural Development Programme (PNDR) 2014-2022, submeasure 16.2.

The Technical Dossier no. 123: “Grups operatius a Catalunya. Call 2018” is dedicated to the Groups Operatius developed within the framework of the CAP Strategic Plan (PEPAC 2023-2027), and includes the Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems, also linked to AKIS (Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation System).

"Technical Dossier No. 123: “Operational groups in Catalonia. Call 2018” is dedicated to the Operational Groups developed within the framework of the CAP Strategic Plan (PEPAC 2023-2027), and taking into account the Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems, also known as AKIS (Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation System).

The report summarizes the first funding period (2014-2022) of the European Innovation Partnership for Agricultural Productivity and Sustainability (EIP-Agri) operational groups, implemented at supra-autonomous level in Spain.

Incorporation of olive stones as a reinforcement in biodegradable thermoplastics to obtain new plastic compounds suitable for obtaining products and components such as secondary packaging for olive oil.

International scope and national mass dissemination of innovative technologies and work methodologies in laboratories, complementing the olive oil test panel for reinforcement as a control system through digital access.

Establish a dynamic network composed of an APP and 3 Living Labs (pilot projects) that facilitates and promotes the use of plant genetic resources for the entire agri-food sector, so that knowledge and needs are exchanged through collaboration in obtaining quality, sustainable and profitable products.

Creation of an Organisation of Producers of extensive organic herbaceous crops through an innovative system of transfer and organisation in which different actors from diverse fields are integrated to exchange knowledge.

Creation of a blockchain tool that offers consumers confidence and a quality product produced in traditional olive groves and on farms with advice on economics and environmental sustainability.

Design of a tool, a web mapping server, for monitoring cereal crops by remote sensing that allows early detection and intervention in production anomalies and optimization of the use of inputs.
