On May 16, 2025 , the OCA Puerta del Camino Hotel in Santiago de Compostela will host the 1st Congress of Young People and Women in the Agri-Food and Forestry Sector , an initiative promoted by Unións Agrarias-UPA that will bring together more than a hundred participants in a key event to address the future of rural areas. This in-person conference, scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. , aims to raise awareness about the abandonment of rural areas and agroforestry activities , one of the determining factors in the depopulation process affecting many areas of the country. The event also seeks to offer innovative solutions and management practices aimed at halting this abandonment , with special emphasis on new formulas for generational transfer and farm succession . The conference is part of a biannual program, which includes a second edition of the congress in May 2026 , and responds to the need to highlight the key role of youth and women in revitalizing rural areas and strengthening the agri-food and forestry sectors. This meeting will be an opportunity to share experiences, access up-to-date knowledge, and create networks that promote the sustainable future of rural Galicia and the entire region. Between May 20, 21 and 22, 2025, a new edition of Demoagro will take place in Medina del Campo (Valladolid), a demonstration event so that field professionals can test the latest developments in the agricultural machinery sector on the ground . Organized by the National Association of Agricultural, Forestry and Green Space Machinery, ANSEMAT , Demoagro will have 80 hectares spread over more than 70 demonstration plots where the most important brands in the sector will once again bring visitors the latest technologies in mechanization. Since 1985, the AIDA Animal Production Conference has become the reference forum in the Spanish-speaking world for the exchange of scientific and technical advances of interest among professionals and researchers in Animal Production. This 21st edition brings two important new features. Firstly, the meeting will be held at a new venue, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Zaragoza. FEMOGA, the Los Monegros Industrial, Agricultural and Livestock Fair, held annually at the Sariñena fairgrounds on the third weekend of September, is a perfect example of the involvement of an entire region in the celebration of an event that has become established over its 39th edition as a major fixture on the Aragonese trade fair calendar.

According to a recent report by the specialist media Interempresas , the traditional multi-sector fair of Sant Miquel , in Lleida, which was held on dates coinciding with the Saint's feast day (at the end of September), has separated its agricultural content for 2025 to create a new event that will take place during the month of November .
