Series of seminars on the CAP at ETSIA. “The evolution of the CAP and the current CAP”

The ETSIA in Seville will host a series of seminars on the Common Agricultural Policy with various experts We would like to inform you about the holding of several seminars with qualified experts who will come to the ETSIA in Seville (Ctra. de Utrera, Km. 1) to discuss the Common Agricultural Policy , which will be open and of great interest. The first of the sessions dedicated to "The evolution of the CAP and the current CAP" will take place on March 6. (from 8:30 to 10:20 a.m., in room 8), Thursday, and March 12, Wednesday, (12:40-2:30 p.m., in room 3) Armando Martínez, Coordinator of Agriculture and Food at the Junta de Andalucía, will speak to give an account of . On Thursday, March 13, Juan Antonio Jaén Téllez (8:30-10:20 a.m., classroom 8), Doctor in Agricultural, Food, Forestry and Sustainable Rural Development Engineering, Technical Advisor and Official of the Andalusian Government, will discuss "Rural development interventions." Biocultura A Coruña 6th edition

BioCultura, the largest fair for organic products and ecotourism in the country, will be held from 7 to 9 March 2025 at EXPOCoruña. It will bring together more than 150 exhibitors dedicated to the sectors of organic food (with more than 10,000 references), ecotourism, organic cosmetics, sustainable fashion, healthy housing, well-being, eco-lifestyle, crafts and NGOs. More than 150 activities will be held in parallel to the exhibition and it is expected to exceed 13,000 visitors.

The Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural World and Environment of the Government of La Rioja is organizing the Field Day: Conservation Agriculture: Direct sowing and plant cover in woody crops , aimed at farmers and technicians. Different plots will be visited where the subject of waste management, soil, rotations for the practice of direct sowing and the use of plant covers in woody crops will be discussed. Armando Martínez, Coordinator of Agriculture and Food at the Andalusian Government, will participate in this session as a speaker on the topic. On Thursday 13 March, the conference will focus on “Rural development interventions”. Juan Antonio Jaén Téllez, Technical Advisor and Official of the Andalusian Government, will address this topic. Registration open for the first OrganicAdviceNetwork cross-visit: "Organic Viticulture in Italy"

Registration for the first OrganicAdviceNetwork cross-tour: "Organic Viticulture in Italy" is open until February 25th OrganicAdviceNetwork , the knowledge exchange network between organic production advisors recently launched in Spain, is organizing its first cross-visit for advisors from Southern Europe, focusing, on this occasion, on organic viticulture and its adaptation to climate change. This visit is designed for advisors interested in organic viticulture , both those with experience and those who want to start in the sector. It will be a unique opportunity to learn about different advisory approaches , share experiences and explore strategies for adapting to climate change in organic vineyards and wineries. During two days of field visits , participants will learn about different strategies for managing organic vineyards and wineries, share experiences with advisors from all over Europe and explore innovative business models. Reimbursable expenses Language: English (basic oral and written comprehension) Registration deadline: February 25, 2025 Project funded by the European Commission and the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation.
