The 1st National Meeting of Young People and Hosts participating in the Cultiva Program will take place in Madrid on November 27. This program promoted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food provides young people from rural areas with access to on-site training, guided by the managers of model farms, examples of good practices and the implementation of innovation in the sector. In order to bring together the participants of the CULTIVA Programme (young people, hosts of model farms and management entities) from the 2020 to 2023 editions, and to create a network among all of them to discuss this initiative and the generational change in the agricultural sector, this meeting will take place, which will include discussion panels and activities that promote the exchange of experiences. On the verge of its 40th edition, BioCultura Madrid will once again show that “bio” is not/was not a fad and that it is here to stay. The fair will be held in November at the Feria de Madrid-Ifema venue. The sectors will be: Organic food; Certified eco-natural cosmetics and hygiene; Healthy home; Sustainable fashion; Eco Lifestyle; Health and Wellbeing, NGOs… It is expected that 400 exhibitors will participate and that more than 50,000 visitors will once again be expected. The 57th edition of the Lorca livestock, industrial and agri-food fair, SEPOR, will be held on October 28, 29, 30 and 31, 2024 in Lorca, Murcia Its programme includes the presentation of new products and solutions for the sector, as well as an extensive programme of conferences and talks.

The Subdirectorate General for Innovation and Digitalisation has organised a new webinar of the Observatory of the Digitalisation of the Spanish Agri-Food Sector . With this event, it resumes its series of webinars after the summer break, addressing key issues related to digitalisation in the agri-food sector. The Digitalization Observatory is an initiative promoted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) in collaboration with the Cajamar Cooperative Group , and is developed thanks to the Next Generation funds from the European Union . From 10 to 13 September 2024 , Edinburgh will become the capital of agricultural advice. The city will host the respective annual sessions of the three main European rural advice networks (IALB, EUFRAS and SEASN) that come together to form this major event with the motto "Adapting to zero emissions" for 2024.
