The Trujillo Cheese Fair will be held from May 1 to 4, 2025. Four cheese-producing regions in Extremadura have been recognized as Protected Designation of Origin: Torta del Casar , La Serena , and Los Ibores , and Acehúche has just achieved this status. To showcase Extremadura's cheeses to the world since 1986, the Trujillo National Cheese Fair is held in the majestic setting of Trujillo 's Plaza Mayor over the May long weekend . The BIODIF Operational Group : biofunctionalization of national strategic crops to improve their competitiveness in the market arises in the context of the Call for Supra-autonomous Operational Groups 2023. This project pursues the biofunctionalization with essential micro/macroelements of three strategic national crops used as food matrices (tomato, corn and olive) for the production of table olives and oil through the application of nanotechnology (nanofertilizers). The 17th edition of the International Fair for Animal Production ( FIGAN ) will take place from March 25 to 28, 2025 at the Feria de Zaragoza facilities. This event, organised by the Technological Corporation of Andalusia (CTA) and Cajamar , will discuss the needs of the varietal improvement sector. From September 6 to 8, 2024, the XXVII PRONATURA International Rural Women's Fair will take place in Segovia , organized by FEMUR, the Spanish Federation of Rural Women.
