It is one of the leading horticultural technology platforms, where industry professionals from around the world come together to connect, network, share knowledge and do business. GreenTech Amsterdam offers visitors a comprehensive exhibition of products and services from the most innovative companies in the field of horticulture.

In this edition more than 30 national and international speakers will develop a novel and interesting program that will address topics of interest to the sector, whose future is conditioned by factors such as the increase in raw material prices, the cost of energy and fuels. , international trade, and many other issues that will entail changes in the productive structure of the ham sector in the long term. Abanca Fair Green Week of Galicia The entire value chain of the primary sector, from agriculture, machinery and livestock, to the final product or gastronomic tourism, will once again be the hallmark of the event. The venue is located in the town of Silleda and has magnificent infrastructures covering more than 400,000 m2 of surface area, of which 35,000 m2 are used for exhibitions (distributed in several pavilions) and 55,000 m2 outdoors, as well as 27,000 m2 of green areas. Its pavilions, its auditorium, its multiple rooms and its outdoor spaces give it great versatility. In addition, there are its large car parks, a green ring, an artificial lake and even a helipad, which allow it to adapt to all types of events and needs.

BioCultura is celebrating its 30th edition at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, and is witnessing the rise of organic production, sales and consumption. BioCultura, like every edition, has the firm intention of continuing to surprise visitors with the latest developments in the organic sector. The proposals are increasingly varied and make it easier for us to adopt healthy habits and consume more responsibly. BioCultura is the largest fair for organic products and responsible consumption in the state and will bring together this year some 400 exhibitors dedicated to the sectors of organic food, organic cosmetics, sustainable fashion, healthy housing, responsible tourism, renewable energy, sustainable mobility, crafts and NGOs. Informative webinar for researchers of the CSIC-COCREA 2024 Call to promote projects with companies facing challenges in agri-food and circular economy REGISTRATION The CSIC COCREA 2024 programme has the specific objective of promoting public-private collaboration through the development of open innovation projects for co-creation and co-development between the CSIC and companies to promote solutions that contribute to a sustainable and healthy agri-food chain and to foster a circular economy. The programme will select 10 CSIC-business co-creation projects and each project will receive a grant of up to €50,000. In the agri-food sector , solutions will be promoted to challenges in the development of agronomic, biotechnological, agroecological, production, processing and conservation innovations that allow increasing the productivity and sustainability of our food systems (both in agricultural, livestock and fishery products); the development of innovative phytosanitary products, biostimulants, biological control agents, pheromones and attractants, and other methods of prevention and treatment of pests and diseases that affect crops of interest; the development of ingredients and functional foods with nutraceutical properties and beneficial effects for the prevention of diseases; or the valorisation of by-products and waste from agricultural industries. In the circular economy , projects will be promoted to contribute to the recovery and reduction of consumption of raw materials, critical materials and the conservation of natural resources, through the development of more efficient chemical processes that minimize the consumption of raw materials and natural resources or that contribute to the recovery of critical materials; the elimination or replacement of harmful compounds in the formulation of products; the development of raw materials from alternative sources to petroleum; systems for recycling, valorization or reuse of waste that is difficult to recycle (mainly for composite materials, plastics, electronic waste, etc.); or efficient technologies for water treatment or soil recovery that allow the increase of these natural resources. In the first phase of the programme, interested companies will present their challenges in the areas mentioned and then CSIC researchers will respond to these business challenges with their ideas for solutions.
