The GO HORSEDATA horse show holds an open day at the Yeguada Cartuja de Jerez.

On April 24th , the HORSEDATA Operational Group is organizing an Open Day at the iconic Yeguada Cartuja Hierro del Bocado , located in Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz) . The event will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and is open to all project members and their guests, with a limited capacity of 50 attendees . During the event, the HORSEDATA project will be presented in detail, an initiative focused on the application of innovative technologies to improve horse welfare and monitoring. Attendees will also be able to take a guided tour of the areas where the technological arches have been installed , a key element in the project's development. The event will open with an opening ceremony, followed by a presentation of the project's objectives, progress, and results. The day will conclude with a space for interaction among attendees and the official closing ceremony. An excellent opportunity to learn firsthand how technological innovation is transforming the equine sector.

Drone application of biostimulants in pistachio crops to increase productivity

The demonstration activity involves a real-life drone application of substances with biostimulant activity on pistachio crops in the province of Toledo. The optimal phenological stage of the crop for application will be determined by prior crop monitoring using data recorded by Sentinel-2 remote sensors in the main electromagnetic bands. According to previous experiments conducted by the UPV research team, the application is planned for the flowering and fruit set phases. Next, the active ingredients will be selected, and their effect on the plant will be related to its phenological state at the time of application. For the final application, the flight parameters (drift, speed, height, nozzle adjustment, etc.) will be determined to apply the exact dose of active ingredient and its concentration. Healthy Soils for Productive and Climate-Resilient Agriculture

The Fertiberia Chair of Agro-Environmental Studies will hold its 16th conference on April 10th under the theme "Healthy Soils for Productive and Climate-Resilient Agriculture." Students from the Saudi National Environmental Monitoring Center visit to learn about the Simbioliva GO

The Simbioliva Operational Group plans to hold an informative presentation on April 9 at the Orujera Interprovincial Conference in Fuente de Piedra. As part of a training program run by an educational institution in collaboration with the University of Malaga (UMA) , students from the NCEC (Saudi Arabia's National Center for Environmental Control) will be visiting the Simbioliva Operational Group project. The goal is to raise awareness of the Spanish model for valorizing alperujo (a type of olive oil), as well as the various R&D&I alternatives and initiatives applied to this byproduct. This project is also presented as a benchmark for innovation in the use of alperujo (a type of olive oil), serving as an inspiration for other agricultural sectors worldwide.

On April 7 , Madrid will host a new meeting of The Food Changemakers , Europe's largest think tank dedicated to the transformation of the agri-food sector. This expert forum, sponsored by the Spanish organization KM ZERO Food Innovation Hub , seeks to generate a real impact on the development of long-term policies, strategies, and regulations in the food industry. The event, which will take place at the Tramo gastronomic space, will feature various roundtables addressing the sector's main challenges.
