EXPOVICAMAN , the Agricultural and Livestock Fair of Castilla-La Mancha, celebrates its 41st edition in 2025. It is, without a doubt, the most important agricultural and livestock fair in Castilla-La Mancha, and one of the most important nationwide. To continue writing its own history, EXPOVICAMAN once again chooses the Albacete Fairgrounds as the venue for the event. The venue, as we already know, was created to host the city's agricultural and livestock fair, making it the most emblematic and unique space to host this fair. The Trujillo Cheese Fair will be held from May 1 to 4, 2025. Four cheese-producing regions in Extremadura have been recognized as Protected Designation of Origin: Torta del Casar , La Serena , and Los Ibores , and Acehúche has just achieved this status. To showcase Extremadura's cheeses to the world since 1986, the Trujillo National Cheese Fair is held in the majestic setting of Trujillo 's Plaza Mayor over the May long weekend . Various activities are organized, centered around cheese: technical sessions, tastings, workshops, etc.

About the CLIMALACT Task Force The CLIMALACT project aims to identify and standardise farm/landscape/value chain management practices associated with the “CLIMALACT” brand and to provide, through co-creative processes (multi-actor methodologies), idiotypes of dairy agri-food systems in Asturias and Galicia based on the calculation of simple sustainability and climate neutrality indicators in order to achieve transparency in farm and value chain management and continuous improvement of sustainability.

The report “ What matters is milk: Roadmap for a dairy sector that is economically, socially and environmentally sustainable ” will be presented on July 4 in Madrid. Promoted by the Interprofessional Láctea ( InLac ), the study has been coordinated by Professor Manuel Laínez Andrés and lays the foundations for a more sustainable future for the Spanish dairy sector, highlighting global environmental sustainability objectives, aligned with the European strategy “From farm to table”. It also includes commitments to progress and a set of indicators to quantify them. To give visibility to the initiatives that are already being carried out in the sector to promote sustainability, a spot called “ Sustainable without knowing it ” has been created, which will be shown during the day, as part of a new communication campaign by the interprofessional. The event will bring together a large number of stakeholders from the dairy sector, from suppliers of raw materials for animal feed to livestock farmers, members of leading cooperatives and the processing industry.
