The Observatory of the Digitalization of the Spanish Agri-Food Sector is a project promoted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, in which Grupo Cajamar collaborates, whose objective is to promote the state of digital transformation in agri-food businesses. The main conclusions of the Observatory on the state of digital transformation in the meat industry will be presented at the Meat Attraction fair, followed by a round table discussion with industry experts.

Meat Attraction, organised by IFEMA MADRID and ANICE, is a leading trade fair in the meat sector, providing an essential platform for operators, exhibitors and buyers. Pitaya is an exotic fruit that is beginning to be cultivated in Spain with very high expectations. This conference will present the results obtained with the NGS pitaya cultivation system developed by New Growing System after three study campaigns (2022-2023 and 2024). Aspects related to the entry into production, yields and quality of the harvest obtained with the self-compatible Caramel Desert varieties and pollination systems will also be addressed . The facilities with the pitaya cultivation will be visited.
