The UBAVIDA ( Sustainable Vineyard-to-Winery Strategies for Obtaining Low-Sugar Grapes and Dealcoholized Wine) project plans to hold a Demonstration Workshop , which is part of its outreach activities and will focus on the analysis of the first wines and a demonstration of the agronomic techniques used in the project. The GO PRERIVID It plans to hold a demonstration workshop, “Predicting vineyard water needs for sustainable use of irrigation water,” which is part of its outreach activities. Experts from different countries will meet at a conference organized by INTEREMPRESAS and OLINT, with a wide and varied program that includes presentations and round tables focused on technology, innovation, sustainability and, in general, all aspects surrounding the fascinating world of wine, with special attention to current market trends. Registration for the first OrganicAdviceNetwork cross-tour: "Organic Viticulture in Italy" is open until February 25th OrganicAdviceNetwork , the knowledge exchange network between organic production advisors recently launched in Spain, is organizing its first cross-visit for advisors from Southern Europe, focusing, on this occasion, on organic viticulture and its adaptation to climate change. This visit is designed for advisors interested in organic viticulture , both those with experience and those who want to start in the sector. It will be a unique opportunity to learn about different advisory approaches , share experiences and explore strategies for adapting to climate change in organic vineyards and wineries. During two days of field visits , participants will learn about different strategies for managing organic vineyards and wineries, share experiences with advisors from all over Europe and explore innovative business models. The tenth edition of the technical conference "Vineyard cultivation and grape quality" will take place on February 27 at the Palacio de Villachica Winery, Peñafiel (Valladolid). The event will feature the participation of Enrique Pascual, President of the CRDO Ribera del Duero and, among other topics, AI and its application in precision viticulture or the future of viticulture in the DO Ribera del Duero will be addressed. The objective of this technical workshop is to deepen knowledge of the mechanisms that facilitate soil improvement, the factors that increase organic matter, understand how they work and how we can enhance them, as well as point out which practices can be negative. The results of studies on vineyard soil management, carried out by INCAVI, will be presented with the aim of defining sustainable strategies that promote the quality of grapes and wine. IRTA will consider introducing new molecular analysis technologies that allow us to understand soil biology, better understand how it works, and improve its management. The Vitivinicultural Technical Days - Harvest Assembly 2024 will focus on modernising and making the region's wine industry more competitive, adapting to the new environmental requirements of the CAP and climate and global challenges. Trends such as the decline in global wine consumption and the demand for innovative, lower-alcohol, sweet and sparkling products will be addressed, in order to better align with current and future global markets. The importance of the cooperative model will also be highlighted, promoting the professionalization, commercial integration, internationalization and sustainability of cooperative wineries. Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias Castilla-La Mancha will present an intuitive software to help wineries differentiate the quality of grapes and establish payments based on objective criteria, allowing detailed and segmented queries through a GIS tool, thus improving efficiency and competitiveness in the value chain. The second edition of the demonstration day "Variable dosing equipment for phytosanitary products" will take place on July 9th at Finca La Grajera . Organized by the Government of La Rioja , the event will begin at 9:30 a.m. and will continue with a field demonstration of the phytosanitary application equipment. Issues such as: Monitoring and management of variable dosage treatments CAP aid. Management of agricultural inputs using variable dosing technologies. Aimed primarily at farmers and industry experts, the event has limited capacity, so registration is mandatory. Transfer Day on the use of “ Digital Technologies for Irrigation Efficiency and Applications in Precision Agriculture ” within the framework of the European DATI Project of the PRIMA program, aimed at the development and validation of new technological solutions to improve irrigation efficiency in crops in the Mediterranean basin.
