V Citrus Days of La Plana
Description
The Unió Llauradora i Ramadera is organizing the 5th Citrus Conference on sustainable citrus growing, varietal innovation and integrated pest control , which will feature an extensive program of presentations distributed in morning and afternoon sessions, with the participation of experts from IVIA , the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) , Agromillora , Certis Belchim , Bayer , FMC , Manvert , Nufarm , Sun World International , AVASA , Ciqua Levante , Genesis Fresh and other leading entities.
The program will address topics such as sustainable intensification , new citrus rootstocks , advances in biological control of the HLB vector , the use of biostimulants and anti-resistance strategies , as well as the presentation of new varieties of mandarins, oranges, and grapefruits.
The event is shaping up to be a key event for the Valencian citrus sector , where scientific knowledge, business experiences, and solutions for more profitable and sustainable production will be shared.
