The BLOOD4GOODS Operational Group 's Dissemination Day will be held on October 16, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. , under the title "From By-Product to Resource." The event will be held online and is aimed at professionals in the agri-food sector, researchers, cooperatives, entities linked to sustainability and innovation in the meat industry , as well as specialized media.
This free event aims to showcase the progress of the BLOOD4GOODS project , an innovative initiative now in its second year of development that is working to enhance the use of bovine and porcine blood as a source of high biological value proteins .
The project aims to transform a slaughterhouse byproduct into a usable resource, promoting a more sustainable and circular production model within the meat sector, aligned with the principles of the bioeconomy and circular economy promoted by the EU.
