Technical workshop in the Ambroz Valley: new agri-food products and the Pimentón de la Vera model

The Association for the Integral Development of the Ambroz Valley (DIVA) is organizing the activity "New products linked to agri-food production and processing in rural areas. Bet on the Pimentón de la Vera model" on October 10 and 11, 2025 , within the framework of the RURALMENTE project - Knowledge exchange for the development of promotional models that stimulate adherence to PDOs/PGIs in rural areas of strategic interest to Galicia and Extremadura .

The technical training session will feature a group of experts , coordination staff and the general public, combining theoretical sessions, demonstrations and debates on the 10th, with a practical part on the 11th , which will delve into the successful model of Pimentón de la Vera as a reference for differentiation and added value for rural areas.

With this activity, DIVA reinforces its commitment to promoting quality agricultural products , encouraging adherence to distinctive quality standards (DOP/PGI) as a driver of economic, social, and territorial development in strategic rural areas.
