Description
ONLINE COURSE to learn about solutions for soilless growing, also covering substrate quality, different soilless growing systems, equipment, and much more.
Course objectives:
- Provide a solid theoretical basis for soilless cultivation systems, including their history, current status, and the advantages they offer.
- Teach students how to formulate suitable nutrient solutions for soilless crops, as well as how to install and manage efficient and automated irrigation systems, including drainage recirculation.
- Delve into the different substrates available (rock wool, coconut fiber, perlite, etc.) and hydroponic growing systems, as well as their installation and preparation to optimize plant growth.
- Provide tools for optimal management of soilless crops, addressing aspects such as seedbed management, prevention and control of physiological and disease conditions, and the implementation of sustainable practices that minimize environmental impact.
