La Vega Innova launches the 2025 call for applications for its acceleration program "Accelerate Your Agro Startup"

La Vega Innova is now open for applications for the 2025 edition of its agri-food startup acceleration program, "Accelerate Your Agro Startup." The program is aimed at startups and entrepreneurs with innovative initiatives in the agri-food sector who want to make a significant leap from idea to market.

Among the benefits offered by this specialized accelerator are:

• Specialized mentoring with experts from the agri-food and technology sectors.
• Access to financing to facilitate startup growth.
• Key connections with companies and institutions in the sector to generate strategic alliances.
• Pilot tests in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, using the iHub's experimental spaces.

Furthermore, the program provides a unique environment for collaboration between traditional agri-food companies, technology operators, universities, and public administrations. It also offers ongoing training and activities that promote sustainable and efficient innovation.

Participating startups will have access to both a virtual platform for testing in real-world environments and the physical facilities located in San Fernando de Henares, at the CENCA (Center for Agricultural Research) and the Ministry of Agriculture's CENTER.

Call schedule:

• Submission deadline: July 14 to September 12, 2025.
• Communication to pre-selected candidates: September 18.
• Pitch to Committee: September 22.
• Final announcement of selected candidates: September 26.
• Signing of the entrepreneurship contract: September 29.
• Program start date: October 2, 2025.
