COAG organizes a conference on sustainable crop nutrition in Meira (Lugo)

On July 21, 2025 , the town of Meira (Lugo) will host a technical conference organized by COAG focused on sustainable crop nutrition , a key issue for moving toward more efficient and environmentally friendly agriculture.

The event will be held at Rúa Federico González López, S/N, 27240 – Meira , and is aimed at farmers, ranchers, and industry professionals interested in improving their fertilization practices in the context of new regulations and environmental challenges.

Program of the day:

1. Introduction to key concepts of plant nutrition and sustainable crops
2. Crop-focused manure and slurry management
3. New obligations in the farm subscription system
4. Resolving doubts about appropriate practices and procedures
5. Information on available grants

With this workshop, COAG seeks to offer practical and up-to-date tools to optimize nutrient management on farms, promoting more sustainable production systems in line with the requirements of the CAP and environmental legislation.
