Description

An online course that addresses key aspects for compliance with current regulations and the integration of data into public systems such as SIEX , contributing to the implementation of the Cooperative Field Notebook (C3) and the digital transition of cooperatives for more sustainable, precise and efficient agriculture.

The 3-day, 4-hour daily synchronous online course includes the following content :

  • Session 1. Environment and use of the SIGCEX Geographic Information System.
    • Introduction to SIGCEX.
    • Purpose of a Geographic Information System: Examples and use cases in agriculture.
    • Access SIGCEX through ArcGIS Hub.
    • Data sources: CUE and REA. When and how do they come?
    • Configuring SIGCEX information for cooperatives.
    • Content privacy management
  • Session 2. Use and design of dashboards with information from the C3 field notebook.
    • Analysis of the use of fertilizer products to improve sustainable crop nutrition.
    • Monitoring the sustainable use of phytosanitary products.
    • Meteorological indicators for scheduling activities and treatments.
    • Procedures for modifying a SIGCEX dashboard.
  • Session 3. Use of advanced geographic resources in SIGCEX.
    • Access to open geographic information data for use in SIGCEX.
    • Crop health monitoring using vegetation indices with Sentinel-2.
    • Impact of climate change on crops.
