XVI Walnut Technical Conference 2025

The 16th Walnut Conference aims to open a space for debate in response to the challenging situation facing the walnut production sector. The declining sales price is compounded by an increasingly demanding market and strong, unfair imports. The event will address how to support walnut production with basic management tools in the face of adverse weather conditions, environmental demands, and marketing strategies to enhance the product's value. A debate will also be held on assessing walnut quality as a sales strategy, and attendees will be invited to share their opinions regarding consumer preferences. The varieties currently being registered in Europe will be presented, and a roundtable will gather opinions from different sectors, along with ideas and strategies to promote the recognition and marketing of walnuts from our country.
