Agrogeomatics: geotechnologies applied to the agroforestry field
Description
This course aims to:
1. Provide a solid foundation in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) applied to the agroforestry sector. Provide training in the use of geoportals for the acquisition, analysis, and management of geospatial data. Integrate GIS tools and data obtained from geoportals into agroforestry decision-making.
2. To understand the fundamentals and applications of GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) techniques in the agroforestry field, as well as to train in the use of tools for geolocation, collection, and processing of field data for map generation.
3. Introduce the fundamental concepts of photogrammetry and the use of lidar in agroforestry applications. Provide training in the capture, processing, and analysis of 3D data using drones, cameras, and lidar sensors. Apply 3D modeling techniques for crop management, terrain analysis, and agroforestry resource optimization.
4. Understand the fundamentals of remote sensing and its application in agroforestry. Provide training in the use of satellite images and data obtained from drones. Use tools to access and analyze multispectral images to aid in decision-making.
